She is a recognizable face from her roles in daytime television: starting with her very first television role as young Amanda Cory on the long-running soap opera, Another World (She continued that character for a total of 9 years). She remains a familiar face in daytime with other major roles on Sunset Beach, Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital and Days of Our Lives, as Dr. Charlotte Taylor. Currently, Sandra plays Christine, another slightly obsessive psychotherapist on the web series, The Bay.
Sandra also appears as a guest star on shows like Secret Life of an American Teeneager, Two and Half Men, and Criminal Minds among others.
With encouragement from her parents and sister, Sandra began modeling in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the age of 13. A few pageants (including Miss USA) and a few commercials later, a talent manager from New York urged her to head to the Big Apple during the summer school break. It was a tough decision to put off college, but when the contract for her first soap role was negotiated, there was no turning back.
Sandra also worked as a spokesperson and host on TV, and founded Charisma on Camera Media Training Studio in Los Angeles.

For fun, Sandra likes to get outdoors; riding her horses and running trails near her home in the Los Angeles area with her dogs. She appreciates art galleries, music and, of course, movies.
She is a strong advocate of environmental issues, and supports groups like the Alaskan Wildlife Sanctuary, ,Environmental Defense Fund, Sea Shepard and The Humane Society among others.
